We used a song 'In The Meantime' from the group Providence this week. Amy enjoys this group and suggested we use them in the Podcast. Here is their bio from LDSAudio:Providence is the newest creation of Shadow Mountain Music. The group's tight harmonies and contemporary sound created a buzz along the Wasatch Front, months before their first release hit stores in January 2004. Their debut single "You'll Get Through This," from the bestselling Women of Destiny, Volume 2, encompasses the message they hope to share with women around the country. "No matter what happens in this life, there is great peace and hope in knowing we have a Father in heaven who loves us and who will not abandon us," says Katharine, a California native. The group shares a message of grace and faith and the blessings that can come when women enjoy the unique sisterhood they share. "I am fascinated by the things I learn about life and the gospel from the women in my life," says Camille, who currently lives in Alpine, Utah, with her husband and three children. "It's so critical that we nurture and care for each other. We need each other."

Featuring two songs--"Someday He Will Come" and "Sisters in Christ"--written for and performed by Grammy Award winning Gladys Knight, the album also includes songs written by Michael McLean, Hilary Weeks, Staci Peters, and Tyler Castleton. Women of Destiny will soon become a powerful motivator for women to raise their spirituality, to stand against the forces of evil, and to remember their divine heritage and potential. We used two songs from the album Women at the Well by Kenneth Cope.
'Women at the Well' &
'Daughter, Arise'
The description of the album from DeseretBook online:Kenneth Cope's latest inspiration draws upon the realization that women were the catalysts to many of the New Testament's most spiritually poignant moments. A woman touches His garment, a woman hearkens to His invitation at a well, a woman washes His feet with her hair, a woman discovers His empty tomb. Written for women and performed by women, Women At The Well will stir the very center of your soul.
