Wow, what didn't we talk about this week. Here are the notes:
- Whit talked about visiting with Barbara Salsbury, who will soon be joining us on the show. Barbara is an amazing woman and we look forward to her segments!
- We talked about food storage and its importance. Visit the church's Provident Living website for more information!
- We also talked about bulk cooking and freezer cooking.
- Whit talked about how she wants a food saver for Christmas. Is Santa listening?
- Julie talked about how caffeine opens up blood vessels and can help with her pregnancy blindness issues. "It acts as a vasodilator, which opens the blood vessels and allows for the delivery of oxygen so that it's more readily available to muscles."
- It was Elder HOLLAND who talked about not second guessing or doubting ourselves when listening to the Spirit. His talk is found in the March 2000 Ensign and is called "Cast Not Away Therefore Your Confidence."
- Julie talked about a support group for women who have had trouble with infertility or other pregnancy issues and Whit recommended TheLDSWoman as a place to go to create LDS online support groups. You can visit our community there and add your comments!
- Crystal Shelly won our referral contest and will receive a beautiful locket from the Remember Company. Congrats, Crystal and thanks for the referrals!!
- Our next winner will receive the new book, "One Bright, Shining Hope" - by Gordon B. Hinckley.
- Don't forget this month's Out of the Best Books Club book- "Mary, Martha and Me," by Camille Fronk Olson. Please leave us voicemail or send us email with your thoughts on the book!
- The music this week are two songs from "Women at the Well." The two songs are "Women at the Well" and "Daughter Arise." Remember that anytime you purchase music that we play on the podcast (through the links on our site) we make money to offset podcasting costs. Thanks!
